About OSRS Higher or Lower
A free browser price quiz for Old School RuneScape. Each round shows one item with its live GE value and asks whether the next tradeable item is worth more or less — useful practice if you flip or just want to test how well you know item prices.
How to play
- Read the left card: item name, examine text, and live GE price.
- Look at the right card’s item (price hidden) and choose Higher or Lower.
- Keep guessing correctly to raise your score; one miss ends the run.
FAQ
- Where do the prices come from?
- Live Grand Exchange highs and lows from the OSRS Wiki Prices API (prices.runescape.wiki), refreshed when you load the page.
- How does scoring work?
- Each correct higher or lower guess adds one point. A wrong guess ends the run. Your best score is stored in this browser with localStorage.
- What if two items have the same price?
- Ties count as correct for either Higher or Lower, so you are not punished for equal GE values.
- Is this the same as the mobile Higher or Lower apps?
- Same idea — compare values — but this version uses live OSRS tradeable item prices instead of celebrity followers or static lists.
