Tips for choosing methods and interpreting results

This calculator estimates how many actions (crafts, chops, mines, etc.) and how many materials you'll need to reach a target skill level from your current level. Pick the closest training method for your playstyle, then set an actions/hour estimate to get a time-to-goal estimate.

For long grinds (e.g. 70+ levels), small differences in XP per action or actions/hour can cause large changes in total time and cost — use the calculator to compare multiple methods before committing to one strategy.

Pro tip: many skills have AFK-friendly options (e.g. Motherlode Mine for Mining, Redwoods for Woodcutting) that sacrifice raw speed for convenience. If you want maximum XP/hour, choose the fastest listed method for the skill and increase your actions/hour estimate.
