How to use
- Select a skill (or import your hiscores for that skill).
- Set current and target levels — or paste exact XP for a precise remaining total.
- Filter methods by tag (AFK, profit, buyable, etc.) or sort by level, XP/action, or estimated XP/hr.
- Check the results panel for actions, materials, and time. Override actions/hour if you know your pace.
- For Wintertodt, birdhouses, GotR, and herb runs, open the linked dedicated calculator when you need live GP or level-scaled XP.
Dedicated calculators
Some methods are too variable for a single XP-per-action number. Use Wintertodt, birdhouses, Guardians of the Rift, and the herb run calculator when you care about exact rates or profit.
FAQ
- How is XP to a level calculated?
- Old School RuneScape uses the standard XP table: each level requires floor(sum of floor(i + 300 × 2^(i/7)) / 4) total experience. The calculator subtracts your current XP from the target level XP.
- Which skills are included?
- Fifteen skilling skills: Agility, Construction, Cooking, Crafting, Farming, Firemaking, Fishing, Fletching, Herblore, Hunter, Mining, Runecraft, Smithing, Thieving, and Woodcutting. Combat, Prayer, and Slayer have separate tools on the site.
- Can I import my stats from the hiscores?
- Yes. Enter your RuneScape name and click Import. The tool loads level and XP for the skill you have selected (when that skill is on the public hiscores).
- Can I share my training plan?
- Yes. Use Share link to copy a URL with your skill, levels, method, and optional exact XP. Parameters are only written after you change inputs or share.
- Why are estimated hours approximate?
- XP/hr depends on gear, ticks, boosts, and attention. Method defaults are rough mid estimates — override actions/hour for a tighter time forecast. Methods like Wintertodt and GotR scale with your level; use the linked dedicated calculators for exact rates.
