How to Get to Fossil Island
Fossil Island unlocks with Bone Voyage (Dig Site required first). You sail from the Digsite barge to the Museum Camp, then unlock digsite pendant teleports and magic mushtrees so you’re not walking the island every trip.
Skip if: You’re not doing Dig Site → Bone Voyage.

Unlock path- Complete The Dig Site.
- Complete Bone Voyage — museum / barge NPCs at the Digsite.
- Talk to the barge guard to sail. You land west of the Museum Camp.
- First trip: bring a hammer if you want to build camp bank / range / etc. Buy one from the camp store if you forgot.
Getting back fast- Default loop: digsite pendant → barge → talk to sail again.
- At the House on the Hill, use the southern strange machine on a pendant to unlock a direct Fossil Island / house teleport option.
- Magic mushtrees — walk to each tree once and try to use it. After that, mycelium hops around the island.
- Charge multiple pendants if you birdhouse often — accounts burn charges.
