RuneScape is getting an animated series. Partnership with Charlie White (MoistCr1TiKaL) and Lyrical Media — the team behind Death Stranding and Bloodborne adaptations / projects.

Hardcore Worlds — 4 November 2026

New Hardcore Worlds on Nov 4. Three pillars: separate worlds, separate economy, one life. Death actually ends the hardcore run.

• Separate worlds — not mixed into normal servers.
• Separate economy — own GE / markets, not shared with mains.
• One life — die and you’re out of hardcore.
• If you die, you can transfer progress to the main game (not a total wipe of the account).

Brand new endgame raid — streamlined boss rush, new BIS rewards. Caverns under Lumbridge, Guthix artefacts.

• Theatre of Blood–style: demibosses, no puzzle rooms, big final boss.
• Intended req: While Guthix Sleeps (Jagex said more on other builds later).
• Launch: fixed difficulty, full wipe on death. Practice mode / softer wipes planned a few weeks after.
• Scale: about 2–8 players; hard solos possible.
