How to read prices

Buy offer / Wiki low: recent instant-sell price — typically where you place buy offers when flipping.

Sell offer / Wiki high: recent instant-buy price — typically where you place sell offers when flipping.

Net profit: sell − buy − 2% GE tax (max 5M per item).

Flipping tips

Prefer items with steady 24h volume so offers fill. Low-volume “huge ROI” items are often money transfers, not real flips.

Respect GE buy limits — diversify across slots.

Always test margins with a small quantity first.

High ROI on illiquid items can trap capital for hours.

How to use this OSRS GE Tracker

Set your cash stack and minimum ROI, then scan the Flip Finder table. Buy offer is the Wiki low (where you typically place buy offers); sell offer is the Wiki high (where you typically place sell offers). Net profit already subtracts the 2% Grand Exchange tax (capped at 5M GP per item).

Open an item for multi-timeframe price charts, GE limit info, and a quantity calculator. Star items to build a watchlist, or use the Profit Log tab to record flips in your browser.

What is OSRS flipping?

Flipping means buying items low and selling them higher on the Grand Exchange. Margins look smaller after tax—especially on thin spreads—so always use after-tax ROI. Volume matters as much as margin: a 8% ROI item that never trades will lock your GP.

GE tax (2022–present)

Every GE sale pays 2% tax, capped at 5,000,000 GP per item. Example: selling at 10M costs 200k tax; selling at 500M costs 5M tax (the cap), not 10M. This tracker applies that formula on every flip.

Frequently asked questions

Is flipping against the rules?

No. Buying and selling on the Grand Exchange is an intended game mechanic.

Can Ironmen use this?

Ironmen cannot trade on the GE, but item pages and charts are still useful for valuing drops and planning upgrades.

Why don’t my in-game fills match Wiki prices?

Wiki prices are recent trade snapshots. Instant fills can be worse; patient offers can be better. Always test with a small quantity.

Where does the data come from?

The official community OSRS Wiki Real-time Prices API (Real-time Prices), the same source most GE tools use.
