How do Slayer task weights work?

Each task has a weight. Your chance of getting a task is that weight divided by the total weight of all tasks you can be assigned after blocks, Slayer level, combat level, and unlock requirements.

How many tasks can I block?

You can block up to 6 tasks with Slayer reward points. Skipping a task costs 30 points. Blocking is better for tasks you never want.

Which Slayer master should I use?

Duradel (combat 100+, Slayer 50) is best for task quality and points. Nieve/Steve from combat 85. Konar pays 18 points but assigns locations. Krystilia pays 25 in the Wilderness. Chaeldar is the mid-game option from combat 70.

What tasks should I block?

Common efficient blocks include Spiritual creatures, Suqah, Wyrms, Drakes, Basilisks, and Skeletal Wyverns — adjust for bosses, collection log, or Wilderness goals.

Every 10th task from the same master gives bonus points. Prefer Duradel streaks when hunting unlocks. Skips cost 30 — block bad tasks instead of skipping forever when possible.

How task weights work

Every assignable task has a weight. Your chance of getting that task is weight ÷ sum of all available weights. Blocking a task removes its weight from the pool, so every remaining task becomes more likely. Unlock-gated tasks (Like a boss, Hot stuff, etc.) only enter the pool when you toggle that unlock.

Blocks vs skips

You can permanently block up to 6 tasks. Skipping costs 30 points per task and is better for occasional bad rolls. Prefer blocking tasks you never want (Spirituals, Suqah, etc.) and skipping rare annoyances when points are high.
