How to Get to Pandemonium
Pandemonium is the Sailing tutorial hub. You start the introductory quest in Port Sarim, finish a short steering lesson, and end up based on the island for early port tasks, crew, and sea charting. Boat upgrades and the full 1–50 route live in the main Sailing guide — this page is just “how do I get there.”

Getting there- Travel to Port Sarim (charter, jewellery, or run from Lumbridge / Falador).
- Talk to the Sailing starter NPC and begin the Pandemonium introductory quest.
- Finish the steering tutorial — you get early Sailing XP and land at the Pandemonium hub (~level 4 from the starter XP alone in typical setups).
- Before leaving, hit the nearby sea chart node (~50 XP) and grab port tasks looping back to Sarim.
What you do from the hub- Port tasks between Pandemonium, Port Sarim, Musa Point, and Lumbridge Basin.
- Sea chart nodes on the way — don’t sail past them.
- Around level 12, unlock Prying Times (starts at Pandemonium) for crowbars used in many charting interactions.
- Recruit crew when you have levels / boat space for them.
Boat upgrades (not here)Small boat, oak cargo/hull, steel trims, and when to spend GP are covered in the Day One Sailing guide. Don’t buy random hull upgrades before the early quest XP is done.
